This tasks you to explore not one but two sprawling caves in the hopes of finding a cursed skull. Then, you have to display it to a number of statues to open passages that will lead you to the treasure. This page explains where to display the skull to statues in Far Cry 6 to complete The Emerald Skull without trouble. On this page: Here’s where you can start The Emerald Skull treasure hunt:
The Emerald Skull location: Concepción, Conuco, northwest of El Agujero hideout.
Now, let’s jump to the steps to complete the quest. Looking for more help? If you’re just starting, we have pages on male or female Dani Rojas, completing Fuel the Revolution, how to destroy anti-aircraft guns, and where to go first on the map. Elsewhere, we explain where to find Triada Relic locations, Parting Gifts, The Long Drop, Cache Money, Rising Tide, High Supply, And the Beat Goes On, The Last One to Leave, Liquid Courage, The Missing Muse, The Emerald Skull, The Truest Yaran, Chorizo’s location, the best Far Cry 6 weapons, and the GDP Oil Platform, Finally, we explain Far Cry 6’s secret ending. Once you arrive, you’ll stumble upon quite the sight. We’ll be entering inside the face-shaped head, but before that, beware of a jaguar that will emerge from within and attack you. As you make your way across the cave, you will find a small chest with the Bullshark charm inside, sitting on top of a bench next to a skull. Keep moving until you find a rope - head towards the gap and, instead of jumping to the other side, look above and throw your grapple. Swing towards the other end to continue. There, use the grapple point near the edge to descend into the water. Swim towards the lit area on the other end, hop on over, and look above to find another grapple point. Ascend all the way to the top and Dani will climb to a new area. On the altar with the two skulls and the candles, you’ll find a note that will detail the next steps. Sadly, the skull is in another cave. You can exit this one by taking the path to the left of the altar. Once you’re below, there’s a surprise: a dead guard is holding a glowing skull. Grab it, and get ready for a sudden explosion. As soon as you pick up the Unlucky Skull a grenade will appear out of nowhere and explode. In our experience this didn’t kill us, but just left us in critical health, with Dani shouting “who does that?!¨ after the sequence. Now, just exit through the gap and start moving towards the next cave. If you don’t mind a few hoops here and there, you can just follow the water current, as it will lead you straight to the next location. As soon as you see the long bridge that leads to the cave, go around it and take it to head to the other end. No jaguar this time around, but we were jumped on by a crocodile in the bridge, so thread carefully. Once inside the cave, beware of another crocodile. Keep moving forward and you will notice a totem as well as a wall with a strange marking. Approach the totem and press the prompt to display the skull. This will open the door to the cave, which is massive. Luckily, it’s not as hard to navigate as it seems. We’ll start by taking the stairs on the right. Go all the way up to the waterfall and use the grapple point to get to the other end. Halfway there a boulder will fall from the ceiling, and you’ll most likely lose momentum. If anything, just drop down and repeat the path. Then, activate the statue there by displaying the skull to it. The cave will shift things around, and another statue will appear right on the opposite side of where you’re standing. Activating this one will open a door at the end of the stairs we took in the beginning. All that’s left is for you to traverse through this room. Once you get close to the exit (you will notice this as there’ll be an idol on top of a table on the left side), beware of red strings. These are explosives that will trigger on contact, so go ahead and shoot them or just throw a grenade. The last explosion will break the blockade, so you can now head outside and get to the chest. Your reward is the Ída’s War Dance charm. That’s all for this treasure hunt!
