The above list features the only Pokémon that you’ll be able to find in Sword and Shield by any means, in other words. In total the Galar Pokédex contains 400 Pokémon from across all eight Pokémon generations. This means Pokémon Sword and Shield contains just under half of the total number of Pokémon.
